Rememberence Day Service & Veteran's Dinner
Each year on November 11th The Optimist of Puslinch hosts a Remembrance Day Service at the Puslinch Community Centre and Cenotaph in Aberfoyle. This is a non-denominational service with all local churches participating.
Senior students from Aberfoyle Public School are invited to attend and they play an active role in the service. Local area Cadets provide an Honour Guard.
The club also holds a dinner each year to honour area veterans. Cadets are invited to help serve the meal and to hear first hand accounts from the veterans.
